Me and my husband were here for two nights.
Tea plantations located right at the door step and a balcony with the mountains view is perfect for a romantic getaway.
The room was nice and clean. Food was great.
The staff was friendly and made use comfortable.
Overall, it was a perfectly pleasant stay at Tea Harvester.
Serene Location and an Amazing View
The view from the balcony of our room was spectacular. The rooms are comfortable and of good size. There is no A/C but this was not a problem for us - we travelled in the end of March when the weather was hot in other parts of Kerala. The manager gave us a tour of the tea plantation - which was more informative than the tea museum we had visited before. It is a nice relaxed place. There is an indoors and outdoors eating area. Food was good. Nice friendly staff
Set in unbelievably beautiful surroundings in a tea plantation, this hotel is approached via a very rough and ready farm track. Be prepared to be shaken! There are steep steps up to the rooms which are spacious and comfortable. The dining area is a mishmash of styles and somewhat stark. Watch out for mosquitoes which were plentiful. The food was unexciting, although plentiful. Sadly our drivers on our Citrus Holiday tour were not housed and had to sleep in their cars in the car park. We found that unacceptable both for them and for our safety when they had to drive us the following day
Stayed for 2 nights, check in smooth and shown to room on the back of the building with views over the forest. Highly recommend going on the hotel organised walk at 8.30am during your stay. Very interesting and learn so much about the tea and how it is produced than at the tea museum.
Top tip wear sensible shoes!! Food ok and they don't sell alcohol. Would of given 5* but could not sit out on the balcony as overlooked by the drivers sleeping in their cars and woken up early in the mornings with alarms going off
